Karachi, March 28, 2012: The House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFCL), leading housing finance institution of Pakistan has been awarded the Best Advertising Campaign of 2011 for their campaign “Irada Aap Ne Kiya Saath Hum Dain Gay”, by All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS). This is for the first time in the history of housing finance sector that a marketing campaign has won an APNS award.
This award is evident of the successful transformation taking place at HBFCL which started three years ago under the leadership of CEO Azhar A. Jaffri and his new management team. The concept of the award winning campaign has been conceived in-house by extremely competent HBFCL marketing team, spearheaded by Dr. Aatiqa Lateef, Group Head, Legal Strategy & Marketing, implemented by Fariya Zaeem, Head of Marketing & A. Bashir Khan, Chief Manager Public relations and executed by Spectrum Communications advertising agency.
In 2011 HBFCL launched a new financing scheme called “Ghar Aasan Flexi” a three-tier product for Home Construction, Home Renovation & Home Purchase to suit the varied needs of the consumer & provide financial assistance & convenience to its customers. The scheme itself was a smart initiative from the management of HBFCL which received overwhelming response from the customers.
A comprehensive transformation is underway at HBFCL with the aim to bring new reforms in almost every section of the organization. Exceptional progress has been made with focus on future endeavors.
Mr. Jaffri is proud of this award-winning Campaign and the efforts that have been assimilated into its conceptualization, designing and execution. The 22nd APNS Awards Ceremony is scheduled to be held at the President House, Islamabad wherein awards will be distributed by the Honorable President of Pakistan, H.E. Asif Ali Zardari. The APNS award is amongst the most prestigious awards in Pakistan.
